The Watcher Watches...
The first title was “Watch What You Do and Say”, then it switched to “Watch What You Say”. I immediately thought of Guru rapping with Chaka Khan.
I spaced out…per usual. Anywho…I took time to speak on a past situation that ‘I felt’ cost me a few opportunities, money, growth, etc.
I was told this morning that blessings come out of everything, and my story that I shared on Threads was definitely a blessing. Not solely on me, but to the community and culture I’m part of. I took it with pride and realized that me speaking out and being the loud one (at the time) was for a great cause. On the flip, I’m very careful with my delivery and what I say, because someone is always watching.
That was also a message I wanted the Duval Hip Hop world to understand (you’ll understand when you listen). Someone is always watching.
Always.
Enjoy the show and thank you for tapping in. #TOTHETOP
