Round 2 for the Neighbors and Groovers. In this episode, we're focusing on the gatekeepers and bridge builders.
For me, I have moments where I don't want to admit that someone is simply gatekeeping a situation, a connection, and a new relationship forming. In this moment, we have to call the spade out. On the flip though, there are people who make sure the connections happen...and I want to make sure to point out what they ideally look like. It's easy to spot the bad (the gatekeeper) and miss the values of the good (the bridge builders). Let this be the reminder.
See you on the final episode of this series. I hope you all are enjoying and learning from this. #TOTHETOP

Peace, Neighbors and Groovers. I'm here to present a special series of Clear Visions. If you've been following for a minute, you remember that I explained how I use this platform to experiment, create freely, and to inform the people of my thoughts and/or lessons I've come across.
This series is informative, and in my opinion, a simply conversation. A conversation that I felt needed to happen, so why not put it in a podcast format? *shrugs*
This three-episode series is about connecting the dots. It's an observation of how people have the proper situation to connect two resources, but for whatever reasons, it doesn't work. Now, on a good-bad day, I'll say that people be gatekeeping and hating, but on a reflective day, my first thought would be that people aren't aware of HOW to facilitate a connection.
Enjoy the series. I hope this helps someone in their journeys. I more so hope that it helps that person that drops the ball when making said connection.
Prayerfully, I'll have the other narrative shows done to present to you all...soon. #TOTHETOP

Peace to you and yours. I’m here to share a lesson that I taught the students of my Intro to Mass Media class. This week, we’re learning the history of mass media.
For me, learning the history of said person, event, culture, etc. is important to me, but while growing up, history (or social studies) was my least favorite subject. I use to always ask…”why am I’m learning about unrelated things??” It wasn’t until I took an African American History class in high school that made me enjoy learning where I came from, who came before me, etc. So I led with that energy while discussing the history of mass media. I pray it resonated with the students.
With that, I shared with them how important it is to know the history of the things you’re involved in, strive to be, and more. I took time after class to share with you all. I hope the same for you all.
P.S. THANK YOU for the 2,500 downloads. I’m THANKFUL. More to come.

Thank you to anyone who has subscribed, supported, and enjoyed the content in 2025. More to come (I promise).
Happy New Year and see you on the other side. #TOTHETOP

It’s still unpacking season, and on this run, I’m speaking on focusing on the good vs. centering in on the bad things. I gave examples of what bad things I focus on more than usual, and I gave examples of great things I need to cherish and uphold more.
Is it part of unpacking? Absolutely. Enjoy.

...I'm here...late and inconsistent *laughs*. In this round of talking, I talk about the lack of support I experienced from recent events I hosted. I give some points as to how to deal with not receiving love from people you expected to support you.
FYI, it's not healthy at all to depend on people to support you. Please acknowledge the feelings that come with it, BUT, find ways to deal with it and keep fighting your way TO THE TOP...!!!
I also speak on the recent defunding of public media and public radio. It's an unfortunate situation that Congress and yall president pushed, but there are ways to support your public stations in your city. The news and music that comes from these stations are important to have for communities to be informed. Take notes and read up on the article for more awareness: https://protectmypublicmedia.org.
Enjoy and see you on the next 'round.

I took an indirect week off but I'm BYKE with the talks and such.
In this episode, I write a sincere letter to Fanbase founder Isaac Hayes, III. I would like to see him be effective in these tech and social media streets, so hopefully its reached with love. Also, we talk about community and how that's suppose to look like. Then we speak on transactional friendships and how these relationships are terrible and uncalled for.
Lastly, I introduce my new segment: Vision Check. I'm looking forward to expanding that segment to something big. Enjoy the show and make sure to follow and subscribe to all the things. Talk soon. #TOTHETOP

Here's a quick word about how we question and second guess ourselves when it comes to the beautiful work we create...and we end up not letting it go for the world to adore. These words are confirmation that I go through it often, but I have to just throw it out and let it breathe.
Someone mentioned that when you do work, you might not get that instant appreciation from people. It might come a year from now...or even 20 years from now. That sat with me...along with some content I need to quit playing around with and throw out *laughs*. So yes creator...you got it and we appreciate your work. We'll support it when you release it. We're standing with you.
Power.
