Yes. The good ol’ AI talk. Why are people using it? Don’t you realize how much disrespect it is to whoever is offended by it? Why in the whole world does it keep using the airbrush font…for everything??
All of these questions are kinda asked in this episode. *laughs*
I share one of my many theories as to why people are focusing on using a “destructive” system to complete tasks, advance their way of thinking…and life, shuffle their brains from being cluttered, and make vital and loose decisions. I have more detailed thoughts on this. Maybe I’ll revisit with a few friends. The point I wanted to quickly get across: there is a legit reason as to why society, institutions, corporations, cultures, and communities are going the AI direction. I feel it’s worth analyzing. It’s also worth giving grace. It’s definitely something to realize…because it’s here and it’s not going anywhere (my walls closing in should support this thought).
Am I’m cosigning people using AI? Not at all. Am I’m merely stating an opinion as to why people are going towards Mr. ChatGPT and Ms. Claude for the answers? Clearly.

Here we are. Revisiting the same ongoing theory I use when speaking about my, and others, positions in my career: The Creator vs. Admin Theory. This go 'round, I'm applying things to my situation.
Simple thought: should I be free and be a more professional creator, or go down the road that'll have me in leadership positions? Should I push my emceeing, DJing, radio personality, and professor roles to higher spots...or be a director, chair, or even a president at an university?
Decisions...or I can do both (that's my thinking, but again...we're here).

August 5, 2026 marks one year that I lost my Father. All of the feels are hitting me. I'm part of the club of people that has lost a parent. I worried about my Mom, my family, even myself. It's a scary feeling because it's new, and I'm reminded that time waits for no one.
With all of that...work still rolls in and on. I will say that I ducked behind my work. Not because I was running away, but because I had started two important positions the same day my Father passed away. So...dealing with the grief wasn't continuous. It came here and there, but there was always a deadline I needed to clear, goals I wanted to continue progressing with, a media company that needed operations, and other work related things that kept me...working.
In this episode, I share three points on how I would recommend dealing with grief while working. A LOT of people feel like life goes on, but does it really when you're grieving? We have to be honest with ourselves when it comes to dealing with this unfortunate feeling, and this is partly me...dealing.
Rest in Peace Griffin Young. I love you and miss you...a lot. Power.

Great day or evening, Neighbors and Groovers. This is a short one. I took an article that I wrote about this podcast and made it in an audio version. Boom for the short work...even though writing the article was quicker than recording it.

I took an indirect week off but I'm BYKE with the talks and such.

I also shared my logistic thoughts on R&B parties, being that I've seen more than a few people speak on the repetitiveness of the songs played. Based off the definition, a lot of people, organizations, institutions are not doing the work to reach the results. Maybe the results are in the beholder of who is doing the work.
Listen...I don't know. I do know that people work ethics are simply trash. Someone might believe that my work ethic isn't the best. They better not say it publicly because I'll become aggressive about that.
I WORK. PROUDLY and for purpose.

I've had this script since September of 2023 and I performed a test run on the process in June 2024. I'm sure on why it took long. I was being a student and everything else you can name and didn't lend myself to the creative side. I thought about it often but I wanted to be free of obligations when I had the chance to fall in to experimentation Pete...
...the irony was that I had two gigs the same day I got the bright idea to start on it.
The creative side was itching for a scratch...so here we are with a recorded script. Its partially fiction and non-fiction, the voices (the phone call and the guy I run in to) are AI-generated (I'll explain later because if you know, I dislike AI for one reason), and of course I would love to have it fit a 'perfect' mode, but when I experiment, part of the mission is to release it to the world with no expectations and no care in the world. With that, more technical ambiences and soundscapes would have been inputted, but I'm in the mode of closing out business.
This is one of them.

Here’s a quick pod episode where I speak on some school things: push strategy and pull strategy. I understand these methods but reading it in the space that I’m in made the ‘ah haa’ light bulb come on.
I share my…vision…on how push and pull strategies apply to marketing…or whatever your involvement is with your purpose in life (shout out to the capitalist/’GET MONEY’ folks out there). I’m not near my book to reference it, but I’m thorough with it, so it’s good.
